People,
Since I returned to Erbil, we have had relatively good, if extremely hot, weather. Last night, it all turned sour with a massive dust storm blowing in from the desert. I mean so thick that you can taste the occasional grain of sand in your mouth, and certainly feel it in your eyes, nose and throat. It continues to blow as I write from my desk.
I hope it will settle before tonight's soccer, but it doesn't seem to want to let up.
If it keeps up, I will take pictures and post them.....it is really something to see the clouds of dust just rolling across the city.
